We have a fantastic opportunity for a Residential Conveyancer (Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or part-qualified legal professional) to join a supportive and successful Residential Property team at a well-established firm, offering quality work, genuine flexibility and excellent career development. The role is available on either a full-time or part-time basis and is primarily office-based, with flexible working arrangements available for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Managing your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion.
- Advising on freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
- Handling remortgages, transfers of equity, gifts and equity release matters.
- Managing auction conveyancing transactions.
- Drafting loan agreements, legal charges and residential leases.
- Advising on lease extensions, variations, first registrations and transfers of part, including building plots.
- Ensuring compliance with AML regulations, source of funds requirements and internal procedures.
- Working closely with colleagues across departments, including Family and Private Client, to provide a seamless service to clients.
- Contributing to the continued growth and success of the Residential Property department.
About you:
- Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or actively working towards qualification through CILEX or SQE.
- Experience managing your own residential conveyancing caseload.
- Strong technical knowledge appropriate to your level of qualification.
- Excellent client care and relationship-building skills.
- Well organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Commercially aware with a collaborative approach to working.
- An interest in developing experience within commercial property would be advantageous but is not essential.
