We are currently working with a leading international law firm looking to recruit an experienced Real Estate Finance lawyer (10+ PQE) to join its Banking team as Of Counsel.
This is a senior opportunity within a highly regarded team that advises on complex, high-value transactions across a broad range of sectors, including corporate lending, real estate finance, leveraged finance and restructuring. The team is known for its strong client relationships, cross-border capability and commercially focused approach.
The role will involve leading on significant transactions, acting as a key point of contact for major clients and helping to drive long-term relationships. You will also play a central role in managing key client accounts and contributing to the strategic development of the practice.
Alongside transactional work, you’ll be involved in improving efficiencies across repeat deals, working with internal teams to streamline processes and make better use of technology. There is also a people management aspect to the role, including supervising associates and supporting the growth of the Bristol-based team.
This position offers a high level of autonomy and would suit a senior lawyer looking to combine hands-on work with leadership, mentoring and input into wider team strategy.
Skills and Experience Required:
- 10+ PQE with strong Real Estate Finance experience
- Proven track record of leading complex transactions
- Experience managing client relationships and supporting business development
- Strong leadership and team supervision experience
- Commercial, proactive and solutions-focused approach
