One of Exeter's modern, ambitious and supportive regional law firms is looking for a experienced Property Litigation Lawyer to join their team. This opportunity, which is either at Senior Associate or Partner level, will have a real focus on strategy, supervising and mentoring junior lawyers and strengthening client relationships. We would welcome applications from Partners, perhaps looking to relocate to the South West and join a collaborative, forward thinking firm; or Senior Associates who are ready to take the next step in their career. This strong and well-established litigation team act for clients locally and nationally in England and Wales. Their work spans both commercial and residential property disputes, with a diverse client base that includes developers, landlords, charities, businesses and private individuals. We are ideally after someone who can further develop links with agents and other referrers and who has the skills to manage a team. You will work closely with other teams in other sectors to manage existing relationships and forge new ones.
This firm has continued to grow, both in size and reputation, over the past few years, to a point now where they have over 200 employees, with a fantastic head office. The offices are open plan and the firm enjoys an inclusive and diverse culture. This team works 2 days a week in the Exeter office (currently Tuesdays and Thursdays) and there is flexibility to work more regularly in the office if you prefer.
Matters will include:
- Landlord and tenant disputes
- Lease renewals and terminations
- Dilapidations
- Possession claims
- Property related contractual disputes
- Development and boundary disputes
- Agricultural and rural tenancies
Experience and skills sought:
- Property litigation experience (circa 6+ PQE) at Senior Associate pr Partner level
- A desire to lead and grow the property and land litigation work
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to lead some of the more junior staff
- An enthusiastic approach to client care
Hours and Benefits:
- Monday to Friday = 08:45 - 17:00
