We are pleased to be working with a forward-thinking top 100 UK law firm looking to recruit an Associate into its growing Property Litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity to join an ambitious practice, with a clear vision of becoming one of the leading Property Litigation teams in the UK. The role offers hybrid working and can be based from their Bristol, Exeter or Southampton offices. The team advises a broad client base including private individuals, corporate occupiers, retailers, landowners, developers and property investors. They offer a collaborative, commercial approach, with exciting, high-value work available and a truly supportive environment for their lawyers to grow.
In this role, you will manage your own caseload across a variety of property disputes, including matters relating to development land (including telecoms), property contracts, and landlord and tenant issues such as dilapidations, break notices, forfeiture and breaches of lease covenants. You will play a key role in the continued growth of the team, with the opportunity to network and support both new and existing client relationships. With genuine guidance and support, you will be encouraged to develop your skills and confidence.
Skills and Experience Sought:
- Experience across a broad range of property litigation matters, particularly development land and landlord and tenant disputes
- A proactive, client-focused and commercially aware approach
- The ability to manage a varied caseload independently, while being comfortable to seek guidance when needed
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A genuine interest in developing your practice and contributing to a collaborative team environment
