One of the UK's leading Personal Injury and Medical Negligence law firms is looking to recruit an Associate into their Personal Injury team in Plymouth on either a full or part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading firm where you’ll be helping clients to rebuild their lives and access compensation, rehabilitation and future security after suffering life-changing injuries. You will be working on a wide range of claimant personal injury matters involving road traffic accidents, public liability, product liability and workplace injuries. The team are ideally looking for someone who is NQ - 5 years' PQE, has experience in either claimant or defendant personal injury litigation, and/or including EL/PL, RTA. This role is ideal for someone with an empathetic nature and a desire to work in a supportive, collaborative team.
Responsibilities:
- Handle a varied caseload of claimant personal injury matters involving road traffic accidents, public liability, product liability and workplace injuries.
- Manage the full litigation process.
- Develop case strategy, assess liability & quantum.
- Draft pleadings, court documents & manage disclosure.
- Provide compassionate and supportive client care.
About you:
- NQ - 5 years' PQE.
- Experience in Personal Injury Litigation (claimant or defendant).
- Empathetic attitude.
- A real focus on client service and support for vulnerable clients.
- A genuine desire to help people rebuild their lives after injury.
