One of Exeter's modern, ambitious and supportive regional law firms is looking for a Property Litigation Lawyer to join their team. This opportunity, which is at the 0-5 PQE level and will be ideal for someone with previous property litigation experience and is looking to expand further on this. The work spans both commercial and residential disputes, including agricultural disputes with a diverse client base that includes developers, landowners, councils, charities, farms, businesses, landed estates and private high net worth individuals up and down the country. You will work closely with other teams in other sectors to manage existing relationships and forge new ones.
The primary focus of the role will be acting on a wide range of property-related disputes, acting mostly for businesses, landlords, landowners and other high net worth individuals. The team assists clients in everything from residential landlord and tenant matters (an area of law that is facing significant change), to the contentious side of commercial landlord and tenant work, and a broad range of land-related disputes (rights of way, restrictive covenants, adverse possession etc). There may be some opportunity to undertake wider commercial litigation (to include insolvency and debt recovery that may flow from property matters).
This firm has continued to grow, both in size and reputation, over the past few years, to a point now where they have over 200 employees, with a fantastic head office. The offices are open plan and the firm enjoys an inclusive and diverse culture.
