We are proud to be working with a leading Top 50 UK law firm to recruit an Associate (1-3 PQE) to join their established Insurance Disputes team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a highly regarded practice, working on a broad range of domestic and international insurance disputes. In this role, you'll advise and represent clients across a variety of insurance and personal injury matters, handling cases through litigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution. Your work will include advising on coverage and policy interpretation issues, liability claims, subrogation matters, and personal injury disputes for both claimants and defendants. You may also have the opportunity to assist with contractual issues arising from insurance disputes, as well as broader civil litigation matters.
You will take ownership of your caseload, managing matters from instruction through to resolution, while ensuring exceptional client service throughout. The role will also involve progressing cases through the litigation process, undertaking legal research, participating in business development activities, and contributing to the continued growth and success of the team. The team is recognised for its technical expertise and collaborative culture, offering excellent support from experienced partners and colleagues. About You:
- You will be a qualified solicitor with experience in insurance disputes, personal injury litigation, or wider civil litigation.
- You will have strong technical abilities and be capable of managing and progressing matters independently where appropriate.
- Excellent client care skills and a commitment to delivering a first-class service are essential.
- You will be commercially aware, proactive, and able to manage a varied workload effectively while meeting deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are key.
- A positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a desire to contribute to business development initiatives will be highly valued.
