We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join a well-regarded regional firm in the South Hams area. This role would suit someone with at least 5 years' PQE who is either already operating at Head of Department level or is ready to take the next step in their career and enjoys mentoring and supporting junior colleagues. As Head of Private Client for the South Hams team, you will play a key leadership role, working closely with the wider Private Client leadership group to support the continued success and development of the department across the firm's offices. Created as part of a recent restructure, this position offers the chance to make a real impact within a well-established and growing team while maintaining a strong focus on client work.
About you:
- A minimum of 5 years' PQE
- Already working as a Head of Department, or looking to take that next step in your career
- Excellent client care skills
- Ability to manage a varied caseload (to include the preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney, tax planning, estate administration and Court of Protection work)
- Enthusiasm and willingness to engage in the business development of the department
