We are seeking a Family Solicitor, Lawyer or Chartered Legal Executive with between 0 and 5 years’ PQE to join a busy Private Family team in Exeter. The successful candidate will assist with a broad range of privately funded family matters, including divorce and separation, financial remedy proceedings, TOLATA and Schedule 1 Children Act disputes, child arrangements disputes and urgent injunctions. Responsibilities
- Advising on a broad range of privately funded family matters.
- Handling divorce and separation matters.
- Assisting with financial remedy proceedings.
- Advising on TOLATA disputes.
- Handling Schedule 1 Children Act disputes.
- Advising on disputes regarding child arrangements.
- Dealing with urgent injunctions.
- Providing high standards of client care throughout each matter.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the Private Family team.
- Managing matters independently while seeking support where appropriate.
- Contributing to the continued success and development of the team.
Experience and Skills Sought
- Solicitor, Lawyer or Chartered Legal Executive with 0–5 years’ PQE.
- Experience of and interest in private family work.
- Strong communication and client-care skills.
- Personable, driven and enthusiastic approach.
- Ability to work effectively both collaboratively and independently.
Salary, Hours and Benefits
- £42,500 - £55,000
- Monday to Friday = 08:45 - 17:00
