One of the region's established, but continuously growing, law firms is looking to hire an experienced Family Lawyer into either their Taunton or Tiverton offices, but with the option to work from home for large parts of the week. The ideal candidate will be someone with strong experience of working within a broad range of private Family work, to include Divorce & Finance work, but also some Private Children work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Divorce & Finance and Private Children matters
- Managing and growing an existing caseload of circa 25-30 files currently
- Continuous business development alongside main duties
- Supporting the Family Paralegal with leadership and development
Requirements:
- Qualified and experienced Family Lawyer, with ideally a minimum of 2 years' PQE
- Due to the hybrid nature of the role, we need someone relatively self-sufficient, although there will still be support and supervision
- Experience in both Divorce & Finance and Private Children law
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple cases
