We have a fantastic opportunity for an Employment Solicitor / Associate to join a progressive Top 100 law firm, working as part of their highly regarded national Employment team. This newly created role has arisen due to significant growth and offers an excellent opportunity for an Employment Lawyer with 2 - 4 years’ PQE to develop their expertise within the Health & Social Care sector. You’ll join a national team of more than 40 Employment specialists, advising employers on a broad range of workforce matters and working closely with experienced Partners. The role offers strong client exposure, meaningful responsibility and genuine opportunities to develop your sector knowledge and business development skills. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly regarded Employment team and develop specialist expertise within a complex, highly regulated and growing sector, with excellent opportunities for career progression and development.
Responsibilities:
- Advising employers on day-to-day HR and employment law matters.
- Handling Employment Tribunal litigation.
- Advising on complex employee relations matters.
- Supporting clients through restructuring and redundancy projects.
- Advising on TUPE and wider workforce change matters.
- Providing employment support on corporate transactions.
- Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships.
- Developing your knowledge and expertise within the Health & Social Care sector.
- Contributing to business development and identifying opportunities to support and grow client relationships.
About you:
- 2-4 years’ PQE in Employment law.
- Strong experience across both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
- Excellent client relationship and communication skills.
- A pragmatic and commercial approach to problem solving.
- Genuine interest in developing sector expertise and building long-term client relationships.
- Health & Social Care experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Ambitious, collaborative and keen to develop your career within a growing national team.
