We have a fantastic opportunity for an Employment Associate to join one of the South West's leading Employment teams, working on a hybrid basis from Exeter, Bristol or Plymouth. Due to continued growth, the team is looking to bring on an Employment Associate to undertake a varied mix of contentious and non-contentious work, while benefiting from genuine client exposure, high-quality matters and excellent opportunities for career progression. Responsibilities:
- Advising clients on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters.
- Managing Employment Tribunal claims from inception through to resolution.
- Providing day-to-day employee relations advice to a varied client base.
- Working with clients across a range of sectors, including retail & consumer, developers, energy & infrastructure and charities.
- Building strong client relationships through regular contact and commercially focused advice.
- Supporting business development initiatives, networking opportunities and client training programmes.
- Collaborating with colleagues across multiple offices to deliver a seamless service to clients.
About you:
- A minimum 2 PQE
- Qualified Solicitor with experience in both employment advisory work and employment litigation.
- Strong technical knowledge of employment law and a commercial, solutions-focused approach.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Able to manage competing priorities while delivering exceptional client service.
- An interest in advising clients within sectors such as retail & consumer or charities would be advantageous.
- Proactive, collaborative and keen to contribute to the continued growth of a successful team.
