We are proud to be working with a leading Top 100 UK law firm to recruit a bright and empathetic education lawyer to join their nationally recognised regulatory risk and resolution team. In this role you’ll be advising education providers, including early years, independent schools, academies, school groups, further and higher education, and special schools, on a wide range of legal matters. You will cover areas such as admissions, exclusions and appeals, student behaviour, safeguarding, SEND, equality, regulatory compliance, complaints, and tribunal or court work. You will also provide critical incident management and reputation protection services and specialist corporate support.
The team is nationally recognised, consisting of a collaborative group of partners, lawyers, and legal support colleagues. You’ll join a dynamic environment where no two days are the same!
About You:
- We are looking for a solicitor or associate with experience in education law, with at least 2 years' PQE.
- You may have previously worked for education providers or individuals and either is welcome.
- While you may not have experience across every area listed, your ability to communicate clearly, commercially, and empathetically with clients is key.
