One of the region's top law firms is looking for a Corporate Tax Associate / Senior Associate to join their busy and highly regarded Corporate Tax team in either their Bristol or Exeter offices. The team advises on all aspects of corporate and property taxes, capital gains tax and VAT, providing bespoke structuring solutions for corporate reorganisations, demergers, group consolidations, and tax-efficient investment structures. They also advise on cross-border matters for multinational clients and provide transactional support to the firm’s corporate and property departments. Their clients include fast-growing businesses, family businesses, established corporate groups, international groups, PLCs and property investment companies, meaning you will have a varied and interesting caseload, working with a wide range of clients. From the outset, you can expect exposure to high-quality work while being entrusted with a high level of responsibility.
Experience and skills required:
- 3+ years’ PQE in corporate tax, ideally within a regional or city law firm
- Strong technical knowledge of corporate and property tax, CGT and VAT
- Experience advising on corporate reorganisations, mergers, acquisitions and tax-efficient structures
- Confident in dealing directly with clients and building long-term relationships
- Organised, pragmatic and able to manage competing deadlines
- Ambitious, with a client-focused approach and strong team skills
