This role would benefit from some previous construction experience, however, we are very open to newly-qualified Solicitors to apply, without any prior construction experience, as the team can train and develop this knowledge. A training contract seat within another area of litigation would be highly desirable. Responsibilities will include:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating construction contracts and associated documents
- Assisting on non-contentious construction matters, including procurement and risk allocation
- Supporting contentious matters such as adjudications and construction disputes
- Advising a diverse client base including housing associations, developers, contractors and consultants
- Managing your own matters with appropriate supervision and support
Skills and experience sought:
- 0-3 years' plus PQE within construction law or just general litigation, if at the lower end of the PQE level
- Someone who enjoys a modern team environment
- You will have the ability to enhance the firm's clients’ experience through the delivery of exceptional client service
