We are looking for a Commercial Property Associate to join a Top 100 UK law firm in Bristol. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ PQE, with experience across a broad range of property work. If you are at Associate level, and looking for a new opportunity to join a highly regarded Real Estate department, then this could be the role for you!
You will collaborate closely with a team of commercial property lawyers, handling non-contentious matters for a diverse range of clients, from small regional organisations to major national institutions and well-known brands. The role will involve a wide range of property work, including property development, landlord and tenant matters, asset management, acquisitions and disposals, and property and estate management on a national level. You will also handle commercial property matters for clients in the charity and education sectors. While prior experience in these sectors is not required, you will have the opportunity to work across a diverse client base. One area of growing work is mergers and acquisitions within the independent school sector. This work is highly collaborative, with teams working across departments, providing excellent insight into this evolving sector.

Responsibilities:
- Working on a varied caseload including property development, landlord and tenant matters, asset management, acquisitions and disposals, and property and estate management on a national level.
- You will also handle commercial property matters for clients in the charity and education sectors - prior experience in this is not essential.
- A level of supervising junior colleagues
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the Real Estate team and wider firm departments.
- Supporting business development initiatives and contributing to client growth opportunities.
Skills & Experience sought:
- 3 - 7 PQE
- Experience handling a broad range of commercial property transactions
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial property law and practice
- Experience supervising junior colleagues
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and prioritise effectively
- Commercially aware with a practical and solution-focused approach
