Aspiria Legal are proud to be working with a Top 100 UK law firm who are looking to recruit an ambitious and highly motivated Dispute Resolution Solicitor/Lawyer to join their highly regarded and successful Dispute Resolution team, based in either Bristol or Exeter. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and expanding team with a strong reputation for handling high-quality and complex commercial disputes. You will work with a broad client base ranging from individuals and start-ups to national and international businesses, institutional investors, financial institutions and public sector organisations. The role will involve advising on a wide range of matters including contractual disputes, shareholder disputes, professional negligence claims, regulatory issues, judicial review and wider commercial litigation matters, with exposure to specialist sectors such as sport, energy, marine and insolvency. The successful candidate will benefit from early responsibility, high-quality work and the opportunity to further develop sector expertise within a supportive and commercially focused environment.
Skills and experience sought:
- Solicitor / Lawyer with strong experience in dispute resolution or commercial litigation
- A minimum of 4 years’ PQE preferred
- Experience handling a broad range of commercial dispute matters
- Sector-specific experience in areas such as regulatory, insolvency, sport, marine or energy would be advantageous
- Strong technical ability and sound commercial judgement
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure
- Experience managing client relationships and working with autonomy
- A proactive, ambitious and self-motivated approach
- Interest in developing a sector specialism and contributing to business development activities
- A client following would be advantageous but is not essential
